Hotel Ilunion Las Lomas

Large conference style hotel in prominent position in Merida. All facilities .special bedrooms for guests with pets,free parking,restaurant and coffee shop.breakfast included in our rate.

We were very pleased with the location of the hotel. Whilst it is close to all that you want to visit in Merida, it is on the outskirts of the town in a quiet location. Parking is directly outside the hotel and easily available. The covered terrace enabled us to eat accompanied by our small dog. It can be problematic travelling with a dog, but not here. The food was very good.

Nice, modern, spacious room with a fridge and outlook to the garden and pool. Was quiet and dark at night. The bed was large and comfortable. Superb breakfast with a large selection of hot and cold food. Ample undercover parking. The hotel restaurant is reasonably priced with a small but tasty menu selection. The staff are friendly and very patient with English speaker's. The hotel is located 5 minutes drive from the main attractions, a bit far to walk but we found free parking nearby without too much hassle.

Even though it's a basic, simple place, the facility is nice, clean and provides easy parking. The major benefit is the super friendly staff. I needed to call a local cafe (2.5h away by car) where I had forgotten a bag. The receptionist at that hour, Cristina, happily made the call for me (which was great considering my low level of Spanish), then told me where I needed to go to get a service to send my bag to me at our new house. Cristina is a tremendous example of how all hotel staff should be - proactive, positive and helpful!!

Lovely modern hotel just outside Merida. Very good breakfast and the cafeteria cooked a nice meal for us on a Sunday. Room well appointed
